At the end of November 2016 a dealership agreement was signed between OJSC «Bobruisk Plant of Tractor Parts and Units» (Bobruisk, Belarus) and the company Belarus Tractor Ltd. (G.Banvell, UK). Now the UK has an official dealer of small-sized «Belarus» tractors.
Signing of the dealership agreement is a logical outcome of almost 2-year collaboration of Bobruisk plant and British company Kent Plant Group that is a parent company of Belarus Tractor LTD.
The first encounter of Kent Plant Group CEO, Paul Bateman with Bobruisk plant was on the social network Facebook, when Paul had seen OJSC «BZTDA» official page. Then there was a stage of active correspondenceand phone negotiations. This year, a group of British businessmen headed by Mr. Bateman has visited Belarus to carry out direct discussion.
After the first visit, Her Majesty’s Ambassador in the Republic of Belarus, MsFionna Gibb Has taken under her auspice the Belarusian-British project. Ms Gibb has also visited Bobruisk plant for acquaintance with it this year.
Taking into account the extensive experience and the British partners connections in some African countries, signed the agreement provides granting of the status of the dealer not only in the UK but also in Zambia, Gambia and Senegal.
And the first results of the cooperation between the new partners are not kept to waiting. Shipment to the UK of the first batch of 3 tractors and municipal machines of the brand «Belarus» is planned for this month.
